Chand Raat Is Here Again! #Eid2K17

Celebrations bring along countless preparations and a lot of excitement. Chand Raat, the eve for the Muslim festival, Eid-ul-Fitr, is the night when the Muslim community start putting together their arrangements for Eid. Because Eid is a blessing for Muslims which is gifted by Allah after the 30 days of Ramadan in which Muslims practice nothing but Islam and spread peace therefore, they wish to welcome it with warmth and contentment.

Moon sighting is held after Iftar when respectable Muslim scholars get together to declare the upright day for Eid according to the moon. As the day for eid is revealed, people rush to the shopping malls and markets to get their hand on Eid stuff. Women get their appointments fixed at the salons to shade their hands with the graceful yet traditional designs of henna.

Also, women watch YouTube tutorials to choose the best makeup looks for Eid. Chand Raat is designated for the ironing of clothes for the Eid namaz, as it is the first thing Muslims do to start their blessed day of Eid.
Men choose last minute eid shopping with their friends because they prioritize their family's needs over theirs. And put their all in fulfilling their wants for eid. Men's salons overflow with customers as men get their  haircuts and beards done on Chand Raat.

Families get their houses cleaned and decorated together and the menu for Eid breakfast is decided according to the likes and traditions of the family. Hence, Chand Raat is a night of enthusiasm which brings Muslims closer and give them time to grow as a family.
Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims! May this Eid bring happiness and peace in our lives.

Because Islam Makes Us Perfect...

Oh so out of the blue, you started wearing hijab? Why are you styling your beard, sole purpose of growing beard is to follow the Sunnah, not to impress chicks. You shouldn't wear jeans while praying. Your effort won't be accepted. We all have heard and said these words once in a while? Now here the question arises that why do we do that? Well obviously because we like proving other people inferior than us.
